Disposal

Responsible handling of waste products

Responsibility for the waste product rests with the waste producer until it is properly recovered. DIRECTIVE 2008/98/ EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 19 November 2008 on waste and repealing certain Directives.

End-of-waste status (determining when waste ceases to be waste under Directive 2008/98/EC).

Circular raw materials for refractories/ceramics

The purpose of modern raw material procurement management in the refractory and ceramics industry is to design a strategic supply chain that is sustainable and offers security of supply.

In order to be able to meet these requirements, part of the supply needs must be covered with secondary raw materials, in addition to primary raw materials. The decisive factor for good performance of a raw material in the product is its quality that is ideally matched to the application process.

We provide our customers with raw materials that have been obtained in accordance to our CERO WASTE concept ensuring superior quality for refractory processing.

Circular raw materials for steel plants/metallurgy

Carefully prepared, used refractory materials, either individually or in combination with commercially available primary raw materials, form the basis for a wide range of raw material substitutes for metallurgical purposes: slag formation, slag fluxing, influencing the slag composition and thermal covering agents. Raw material concepts that match the process in terms of quality, availability and environmental compatibility are developed in close cooperation with the customer.

We provide our customers with raw materials that have been obtained in accordance to our CERO WASTE concept ensuring superior quality for refractory processing.
